THE CREW

Born and Raised in Harlem, NYC. Angel always had an affinity for the arts. His Puerto Rican parents who were avid music, and media connoisseurs made sure he learned both languages, appreciated the beauty of different types of music, and cultures.

In High School he wrote a play titled "The Other Woman" which was produced by an after school program run by the Manhattan Theatre Club. After high school his passion for music led him to Touro College to study audio engineering and production at the Digital Media Arts program"DMX". Where he received his certification in audio engineering. Moreover, his thirst for knowledge of media production did not stop and led him to BMCC. Where he studied Video Arts and Technology at the popular "VAT" program. After graduating with an associates degree in applied sciences he got accepted  into the competitive media and communication arts program at the City College of New York the "MCA" program. At CCNY he honed his writing skills, and journalism skills. While also continuing to study production, literature, and the art of marketing. He received his Bachelor's degree in Arts in 2012.

During and after his collegiate days Mr. Quiles worked at various restaurants as a bartender and server. His experiences in the hospitality industry expanded his horizons, and gave him a vast knowledge on how to deal with people under different circumstances.

STAR TRACK

CO-PRODUCER/MUSICAL DIRECTOR Known to many by his stage name Star Track, Jose Portillo has been involved in the world of media for over 20 years. His passion for the world of music and entertainment started with his humble beginnings as a local amateur DJ, and videographer in East Harlem. Which is a predominantly LatinX and Black neighborhood in New York City where his Puerto Rican mother, and Ecuadorian father raised him. 

Star Track never had any doubt he wanted to be a musician and entertainer. Early in his career he created his own label Fully Loaded Sounds Muzik aka FLS Muzik. While running FLZ Muzik Star Track attended, and graduated from the prestigious SAE Institute of Technology in New York City.  At SAE he learned how to master his craft, and more importantly learned the idiosyncrasies of the administrative side of the music business. 

His quest and passion to become a media expert did not stop with the conclusion of his time at SAE.  After graduation he decided to merge his music and video skills to create More Films Media. Mainly self-taught in film and video. Nevertheless, Star Track has not only been involved in the scoring of short films, but the pre-production, production, and post-production of a variety of film, video, and photography projects over the last 15 years. Making him a stellar professional in the business. 

Recently, Star Track has partnered up with Angel Of Words to help produce the Angel Of Words podcast, and create the musical score for the program.

JESSE J

BORN AND RAISED IN MARCY PROJECTS IN BROOKLYN, NYC. JESSE IS OF 100 PERCENT TAINO PUERTO RICAN DECENT. JESSE MADE IT OUT OF ONE OF THE MOST NOTORIOUS AREAS IN NEW YORK CITY WITH SHEER WILL. SHE NEVER GAVE INTO THE DESTRUCTIVE PART OF GROUP THINKING USUALLY FOUND IN THE TOUGH GHETTOS OF AMERICA. INSTEAD SHE FOCUSED ON GETTING GOOD GRADES IN SCHOOL AND FINSIHING HER DEGREE AS AN EDUCATOR IN QUEENS COLLEGE. SHE HAS SERVED NEW YORK CITY PUBLIC SCHOOLS AS AN EDUCATOR FOR THREE YEARS. SHE WORKS HARD TO ENSURE THE CHILDREN OF COMMUNITIES SIMILAR TO HERS DO NOT FALL PRAY TO GHETTO STEREOTYPES. BY TEACHING THEM THE VALUE OF INDEPENDENT THOUGHT AND CRITICAL THINKING. IN 2023 JESSE J JOINED THE ANGEL OF WORDS PODCAST AFTER AN INTERVIEW WHICH LEFT ANGEL OF WORDS IMPRESSED BY HER SASSY, URBAN YET EDUCATED SWAGGER. AN ENERGY JESSE J BRINGS INTO THE ANGEL OF WORDS PODCAST, AND HER LIVE EVENT CORRESPONDENT COVERAGE EVERY TIME SHE STEPS ON THE SCENE. FELIX “SUAVE” SANTOS STEPPED ON THE ANGEL OF WORDS ENTERTAINMENT SCENE IN 2022. AFTER MEETING ANGEL OF WORDS AT METROPOLITAN HOSPITAL WHILE HE WAS GETTING HEALTH INSURANCE. SUAVE AND ANGEL OF WORDS HIT IT OFF AND HIS PASSION FOR MUSIC LED HIM TO TAKE A TRIP TO THE ANGEL OF WORDS PODCAST STUDIO. WHEN ANGEL WAS JUST BEGINNING HIS PODCAST JOURNEY INTO THE SOLEY MUSIC BUSINESS NICHE.THERE IS WHERE SUAVE ALSO A NATIVE OF EAST HARLEM REALIZED HE WANTED TO LEARN MORE ABOUT PRODUCING CONTENT. SUBSEQUENTLY, ANGEL OF WORDS LET SUAVE CONTINUE TO COME TO STUDIO TO LEARN AND HE EVENTUALLY BECAME THE FIRST PRODUCTION ASSISTANT ON AOW HISTORY. HELPING TO ENTERTAIN THE GUEST AND HELPING OUT AROUND THE STUDIO AND SETTING UP. OVER TIME SUAVE HAS BECOME A PIVOTAL PART OF FILLING IN DIFFERENT PRODUCTION ROLES. INCLUDING HOSTING THE ANGEL OF WORDS PODCAST, AUDIO RECORDING, AND VIDEOGRAPHY. WHEN HE SUAVE IS NOT ON THE SCENE HE’A AT LEHMAN COLLEGE FINISHING UP HIS BACHELORS DEGREE IN BUSINESS MANAGEMENT.
